What are the minimal system requirements for SAP?

SAP ECC with NetWeaver 7.0 EHP2 or higher. This is the version where Debugger Scripting became available.

What are the minimal system requirements for PC?

Minimum requirements for the Perspective Trace application are a DX11-compatible graphics card and 8GB RAM running Windows 7 or newer. An OSX version is available as well.

What authorizations do I need in SAP?

Access to the SAP debugger and S_DEVELOP objtype= PROG actvt=02 (change) for uploading of the debugger script from a file or S_DEVELOP objtype= PROG actvt=03 (display) if it is already saved in the debugger script database.

Is Perspective Trace secure? How does it handle sensitive data?

Our tool never modifies the client system and can be deployed in various ways according to the security requirements of a client. The visualizing application does not connect anywhere.

There is a hard limit on the path length in the uploading dialog. Try uploading the script from a more shallow directory.
